The Wilder Kaiser is a mountain range in Tirol, Austria – right on the German border to the north. Wilder Kaiser is easy to get to. On the western side lies Kufstein which is at the opening of the Inn Valley (after the river Inn), easily accessed by car or train. Munich Airport is not far away.
The Kaiser mountains are unique. They’re kind of by themselves. The highest peak is Ellmauer Halt, which is only 2344 meters (7690ft). This makes the mountains more accessible late into the season.
